Hereford Sires
MH LAD 145
Hereford Sire: MH Lad 145
Born: March 19, 2001
CHA Data: EPDs
High Seller at 2003 Mrnak Herefords bull sale.
145 has been the most impressive breeding bull ever used at the ranch. He stays in tremendous shape all year long and has never had his feet touched. He has bred every cow on the place over the past four years with very few not being saleable. His daughters seem to be carrying on his style and eye appeal. They are sound, functional cattle, and people who have seen them comment on what a consistent group they are. His dam is being used heavily in MrNak's flush program with super results. 145 was in the Champion Get of Sire group at Denver in 2003 and is maternal brother to the National Champion Female that same year.

Spade is one of the best bulls we have ever raised. Out of a first calf heifer he was top weaning and yearling bull in 2006. He is solid marked with full pigment, loads of meat and "four posts" for legs. We are very excited to see his first calves spring 2008.

Purchased by Brost Land & Cattle Co and Dallas Farms for $17,000 at the 2006 Medicine Hat Spring Bull Sale. Pahl Livestock retained in herd semen interest. Papillon was used by AI for spring 2007 and if his calves are anything like him, we'll be ecstatic. His sire, 38J, bred really well for us and his dam, 107L, is one of our top cows.

General was purchased from Lilybrook Herefords at the Medicine Hat Spring Bull Sale in 2005. He was the High Seller that year at $14,000. This Hereford bull has bred very well with his strength being in his female progeny. His mother, AGA 137Y Miss Standard 115A, is a Dam of Great Distinction and raised him at 15 years of age.

90P was purchased at Anderson 's 2005 fall production sale. He immediately caught our eye with his style and correctness as well as being a total outcross for us. 90P is the sire of PAHL Spade 3S.

He was purchased for his light birth weight of 82 lbs and his first calf crop solidified that. The heaviest was 88 lbs and they look like they have some growth in them as well.
